The vision of our church is summarized in a single sentence based on two key scriptures:

“We believe a great commitment to the great Commandment and the great Commission will grow a great church!”

Our mission is to be a church so rooted in love, service, and truth that if we were to close our doors tomorrow, our community would mourn. We exist to reflect the heart of Jesus in all we do—impacting lives, building relationships, and meeting real needs with compassion and purpose.

Our Approach

Impacting the world for Christ

The approach to fulfilling the mission of 5 Point is to be the church that impacts the world for Christ.

We focus on reaching outside of the walls of the church at all times. Because of this, we tithe as a church to over 100 organizations in our community and across the world every year. We truly feel that if we were to close our doors tomorrow, the community would not only mourn, but they would hurt because of the void that would be left by not having 5 Point Church providing for our community.

Our 5 Purposes

Live with Purpose

We believe that as believers God has called us to live our life differently so that others see the message of Jesus in ALL that we do. Our 5 purposes are based on the areas of our life that exemplify this message. We also offer the opportunity to commit to these 5 Purposes and join 5 Point Church by signing our membership covenant you can receive through our Connect 101 Class.

Ways to fulfill 5 Purposes in your daily life:

Evangelism

Share Jesus through your life.

Share your story of what God is doing or has done in your life.
Live your life for Christ.
Be an inviter! 5 Stickers and invite cards are always available in our Connections area.

Worship

Honor God with your whole life.

Serve a service and attend a service.
Financially support 5 Point Church by tithing 10% of your gross income. (2 Cor. 9:6-15)
Set the tone for the culture at 5 Point Church.

Discipleship

Grow so you can help others grow.

Read your Bible daily.
Put into action what you learn from reading your Bible.
Grow in your walk to teach others about Christ.

Our Beliefs

Grounded in Scripture

God

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.

(Genesis 1:1,26,27; 3:22, Psalm 90:2, Matthew 28:19, I Peter 1:2, II Corinthians 13:14)

Man

Man is made in the image of God. He is the supreme object of God's creation. Although God designed man to have fellowship with him, man became alienated from God through disobedience. As a result, all human beings are born with a sinful nature and choose to sin against God. Man is incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through his own efforts.

(Genesis 1:27, Psalm 8:3-6, Isaiah 53:6a, Romans 3:23, Colossians 1:21, Isaiah 59:1-2)

Eternity

Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. When you die, you will either spend eternity in Heaven or Hell. Eternal separation from God happens in Hell. Eternal union with God occurs in Heaven.

(John 3:16, I John 2:25; 5:11-13, Romans 6:23, Revelation 20:15)

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven's glory and will return again to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

(Matthew 1:22-23, Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1-5; 14:10-30, Hebrews 4:14-15, I Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 1:3-4, Acts 1:9-11, I Timothy 6:14-15, Titus 2:13)

Salvation

Salvation is a gift from God to man. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin's penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

(Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 14:6; 1:12, Titus 3:5, Galatians 3:26, Romans 5:1)

Eternal Security

Because God gives man eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives this security.

(John 10:29, II Timothy 1:12, Hebrews 10:10-14, I Peter 1:3-5)

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every believer from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily.

(II Corinthians 3:17, John 16:7-13; 14:16-17, Acts 1:8, I Corinthians 2:12; 3:16, Ephesians 1:13, Galatians 5:25, Ephesians 5:18)

The Bible

The Bible is God's Word to all men. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.

(II Timothy 3:16-17, II Peter 1:20-21, II Timothy 1:13, Psalm 119:105,160, Psalm 12:6, Proverbs 30:5)

Welcome to 5 Point Church. This church is filled with a lot of imperfect people and that’s okay. You don’t have to get everything fixed before you walk through the doors. We can promise that you will be loved and cared for.

What to expect

When you come on a Sunday, come as you are. We dress casual and simply want you to experience an engaging, one-hour service. Families with children (birth through 5th grade) are invited to check out KidPoint, where your children will experience the best hour of their week in an age-appropriate service.

The best hour of your kid’s week.

KidPoint is a fun, safe environment designed so kids can experience Jesus on their level. Through creative teaching, worship, games, and small groups, the Bible comes to life in a way kids can understand and enjoy.

From babies to 5th grade, every environment is built around age-appropriate learning, trusted leaders, and a secure check-in and pick-up process so you can worship knowing your kids are cared for.

Student Ministry

5 Point Youth

A place where middle and high school students belong.

5 Point Youth exists to reach and teach the next generation. Each week, students gather for high-energy worship, practical teaching, and honest conversation in small groups where they can be known, encouraged, and challenged.

From weekly services to camps, retreats, and serving opportunities, students are learning what it looks like to own their faith and impact their schools and communities.

Young Adults

College & Twenty-Somethings

Real community for your next chapter.

Whether you’re in college, starting a career, or figuring out what’s next, our Young Adults ministry is a space to ask questions, build friendships, and grow in your faith.

Through gatherings, groups, and serving together, young adults are learning what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life.

Groups

Life Groups at 5 Point

You weren’t meant to follow Jesus alone.

Life Groups are where a big church becomes small. In homes, coffee shops, and on our campus, people gather to study Scripture, pray, and walk through life together.

Life Groups have concluded meeting for the 2025 Fall Semester. Sign-ups will open for our Spring Semester in February.

The 5 Point Residency is a 24-week program designed to grow members of 5 Point Church into fully equipped disciples of Jesus, prepare them for ministry leadership, and strengthen the body of Christ.

Residents are trained to make disciples, teach, lead, and make an impact both at 5 Point Church and in the world.
